Sports betting research, done properly

Every StatsNext tool shows real data with its context: who, against whom, where, at what price and how that price has moved.

What you can research

Built for every sport StatsNext covers

Each capability below works in the sports where the data exists, from the NFL and NBA to soccer, tennis, golf and MMA.

Odds + Line Movement

See how markets move

StatsNext compares current sportsbook prices, records them over time and reports what moved and where sportsbooks disagree. It reports what changed, not why.

Odds comparison

Current spreads, totals, moneylines and player props across sportsbooks, with the best available price.

Line and price movement

How a line or price changed across recent windows and since StatsNext started tracking it.

Sportsbook disagreement

Where sportsbooks currently differ on the same market.

Opening, First Tracked, Current

Opening is shown only when it is a verified sportsbook opening line. Otherwise First Tracked is the first price StatsNext recorded. Current is the latest price, and Last Pregame the last price before the start.

Trends + Betting Performance

Records graded against the real closing line

Historical trends and betting records built from final scores and each game’s closing market, never from invented lines.

Straight-up records

Wins and losses, overall, home and away.

Against the spread

ATS records graded on each game’s closing spread.

Over / under

O/U records graded on each game’s closing total.

Head-to-head

Past meetings between two teams with each meeting’s closing line.

Player trends

How often a player cleared a line over recent games, with the sample shown.

Pattern discovery

Trends found by explicit rules and ordered by how strong the sample is.

Past results describe what happened. They do not predict what will happen next.

Injuries, Lineups + Weather

StatsNext shows what each sport’s data source provides, and says so when something is not available.

Injuries

Current injury reports, with NFL designations, practice participation and depth charts.

Confirmed NBA and MLB lineups and soccer lineups when they are posted.

Weather

Conditions for outdoor games, where they affect the market.

StatsNext Intelligence

Model estimates and market differences, explained

Model estimates built from historical and current data, shown next to the market and the evidence behind them. They are statistical estimates, not guarantees of any outcome. StatsNext’s predictive model has not demonstrated an advantage over sportsbook market probabilities. Treat these figures as unvalidated estimates.

Model-Implied Fair Line
The line StatsNext’s model estimates for a market, from historical and current data.
Estimated Model Probability
The model’s estimated probability of an outcome.
Market No-Vig Probability
The sportsbook price turned into a probability with the sportsbook margin removed.
Model vs. Market Difference
The gap between the Estimated Model Probability and the market’s no-vig probability.
Model-Implied Fair Price
The American odds at which Model-Implied EV would be zero under the model.
Model-Implied EV (Unvalidated)
A mathematical estimate from the model probability and the price shown. Not a return anyone will earn.
Input Quality
The data behind an estimate: sample size, role stability, injuries, sportsbook agreement and past calibration. Not accuracy against the market.

Read the Research Disclaimer for what these estimates are and are not.
