StatsNext Terms of Use

Effective date: October 15, 2026

Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of StatsNext, including the StatsNext mobile apps and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, with or without an account, you agree to these Terms. The StatsNext Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

In these Terms, “StatsNext”, “we” and “us” refer to STATSNEXT LLC, the operator of the Service, and “you” refers to the person using it.

Eligibility and age requirement

To use StatsNext you must:

  • be at least 18 years old, and at least the age of majority where you live;
  • be able to form a binding agreement with us, and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.

Being 18 or older does not make sports wagering legal where you are. Sports betting is legal only in some places, and the minimum legal age for wagering is often higher than 18 (for example, 21 in many U.S. states). If you choose to bet anywhere, you are solely responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction, including its legal wagering age.

Description of StatsNext

StatsNext is a sports intelligence platform. It provides factual sports information, statistics and research tools, sportsbook market information, historical trends and proprietary statistical estimates. This includes player, team and matchup research, player props, sportsbook price comparison, market movement, historical splits and trends, opponent and injury context, weather and game context, watchlists, alerts, the Explore tools and StatsNext Intelligence.

Sports research and informational purpose

Everything in StatsNext, including research, alerts, scanner results and model outputs, is general sports information and analysis provided for research and entertainment. It is not betting, gambling, financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not personalized to your circumstances or a recommendation to place any bet.

No sportsbook or wagering services

StatsNext is not a sportsbook, bookmaker, gambling operator, broker, exchange or financial adviser. StatsNext does not accept, hold or place wagers, does not place bets for you, and does not hold, transfer or have custody of betting funds, deposits or balances. If you choose to wager, you do so separately with a third-party operator. Prices shown in the app are information about third-party sportsbooks, not offers from StatsNext.

No guarantee of results

StatsNext does not guarantee any outcome, prediction, winnings or profitability, and it is not a betting system. Betting involves risk, including the loss of money. Never bet more than you can afford to lose. Any decision to bet, and any result, is yours alone.

StatsNext Intelligence and statistical models

StatsNext Intelligence provides model-generated sports estimates: statistical projections, the Fair Line, the Fair Probability, comparisons with the Market No-Vig Probability, the StatsNext Edge, the Fair Price, Estimated EV, a Confidence level and the historical and contextual analysis behind them. They are statistical estimates produced by models from historical and current data, not guarantees of any outcome, profit, accuracy, future performance or betting success.

  • Models can be wrong, sometimes significantly.
  • Data can be incomplete or delayed, and injuries, lineups, weather and markets can change after an estimate is made.
  • Past results, backtests and reported model performance do not guarantee future outcomes.
  • Estimated EV is a model estimate, not a realized return, and a positive Edge is not a prediction that an outcome will happen.
  • Confidence describes how much data and agreement stand behind an estimate. HIGH confidence does not mean certainty, and LOW confidence does not mean an estimate is wrong.
  • Models, methods and outputs may change or be withdrawn.

You remain responsible for how you use model outputs and for every decision you make.

Historical research and context

StatsNext shows historical and contextual research, including recent and season hit rates (for example the last 3, 5, 10 or 20 games), opponent history, home and away splits, batter-versus-pitcher history, Injury Impact, Opponent Weakness, Trends, market movement, sportsbook disagreement, and weather and game context.

  • Historical performance does not guarantee future results.
  • An observed association, such as a change with or without a teammate or against an opponent, is not necessarily a cause.
  • Small samples can be misleading, and samples, splits and rankings change as games are played and data is corrected.
  • Injury, lineup and designation information comes from third parties and can be incomplete, delayed or wrong.

Accounts

You can create an account with your email address and sign in with a one-time code sent to that address or, in the mobile apps where offered, with your Apple or Google account. Each account is for one person: do not share your account, your sign-in codes or access to it, and do not let anyone else sign in to it. Keep your account information accurate. An account is required to subscribe to StatsNext Pro.

Guest use

You can use much of StatsNext without an account. As a guest you can browse StatsNext, but a free account is needed to open Full Research. Your guest watchlist, alerts and settings are stored on your device and are not backed up: deleting the app, changing devices or clearing data on your device may remove them. If you create an account or sign in on that device, your guest watchlist, alerts and settings can move to your account. These Terms apply to guest use in the same way as to account use.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity under your account that you authorize or that results from not protecting that access. Tell us promptly, using the contact information below, if you believe your account has been used without permission.

We may take reasonable action, including limiting or suspending access, to protect accounts and the Service from unauthorized access, abuse, automated scraping, attempts to get around research or plan limits, attacks on our systems or APIs, credential abuse, or other malicious activity.

Free and Pro services

StatsNext offers a Free plan and StatsNext Pro. Basic browsing is free. The Free plan currently includes 5 Full Research opens per StatsNext day across Player, Team and Matchup Research, plus limited watchlists, alerts and saved views; the current limits are shown in the app.

StatsNext Pro provides expanded or unlimited access to eligible research and features under the plan shown in the app. Pro does not add data StatsNext does not have: sections whose data source is not active are marked as such on every plan.

Plan features and limits may change as StatsNext evolves. We will give notice of material changes where the law requires, and the current features of each plan are shown in the app.

Research open limits

  • Opening Full Research uses a research open. One open covers one player in one game (every supported prop of that player in that game), one team, or one game, for the rest of the StatsNext day.
  • Reopening the same subject on the same day, from any screen, does not use another open, and switching between a player’s props for the same game does not use another open.
  • The StatsNext day runs on U.S. Eastern Time; daily allowances reset at midnight Eastern Time.
  • Browsing basic information, and browsing previews, does not use an open. Only an explicit unlock of Full Research does.

Limits apply per account or guest installation. You may not create multiple accounts, reset or reinstall the app, or use other means to get around plan or research limits.

Subscriptions and trials

StatsNext Pro is offered as a monthly or annual subscription on the StatsNext website, with payment processed by Stripe, in the StatsNext Android app, purchased through Google Play, and in the StatsNext iOS app, purchased through the Apple App Store. The price, billing period and any trial are shown before you confirm a purchase (on the website and at Stripe’s checkout, or in the app and by Google Play or the App Store), and the price shown at that time governs. The StatsNext Subscription Terms, shown on the website and in the app, explain trials, automatic renewal, cancellation, refunds and restoring purchases in detail and are part of these Terms.

Free trials

StatsNext may offer promotional or free trials. Eligibility may be limited (for example, one trial per person or store account), and a trial may not be offered to everyone or at all times. A trial may require a payment method, and unless you cancel before it ends it automatically becomes the paid subscription you selected. The trial length and terms shown when you enroll govern.

Billing through Stripe, Google Play and the App Store

Subscriptions on the website are processed by Stripe; you manage and cancel them in Account > Manage billing, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Subscriptions in the Android app are purchased through Google Play, under Google Play’s rules, and you manage and cancel them through Google Play. Subscriptions in the iOS app are purchased through the Apple App Store, under Apple’s rules, and you manage and cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings. StatsNext does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and the payment provider (Stripe for website subscriptions, Google Play for Android subscriptions, Apple for iOS subscriptions) charges the subscription price to your payment method, until you cancel. A trial that is not canceled before it ends becomes a paid subscription and renews in the same way.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time: website subscriptions in Account > Manage billing, Android subscriptions in your Google Play subscription settings, iOS subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the current period or trial ends. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of your trial), then your account returns to the Free plan. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Deleting your StatsNext account stops a website subscription from renewing, but does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription.

Refunds

Website subscriptions: payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, except where required by applicable law; billing errors can be reported to StatsNext support within 30 days of the charge, without limiting any rights you have under applicable law. Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled by Google under its policies and applicable law, and refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law. If a purchase is refunded, revoked, voided, disputed or charged back, Pro access from it may end immediately.

Restoring purchases

For Android subscriptions: if you reinstall the app or move to a new device using the same Google Play account, use Restore purchases in the app to reconnect your subscription. For iOS subscriptions, do the same on a device signed in to the same Apple Account. Website subscriptions need no restoring. Pro is attached to the StatsNext account you were signed in to when you subscribed.

Watchlists, alerts and notifications

You are responsible for the watchlists, alerts, saved views and settings you create. Alerts are a convenience tool: they depend on data availability and may be delayed, missed or triggered by data that later changes. Where push notifications are enabled, delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of device settings, network conditions, operating-system behavior or provider outages. Do not rely on a notification as your only source of time-sensitive information.

Sportsbook and market data

StatsNext shows sportsbook odds, lines, prices, player props, market movement and sportsbook disagreement. First Tracked is the first price StatsNext recorded, which is not necessarily a sportsbook’s opening line; Current is the latest price StatsNext has; Last Pregame is the last price before the event started.

Market information can change rapidly, be delayed, suspended or unavailable, differ by sportsbook, user or jurisdiction, and contain provider errors. StatsNext does not guarantee that a price or line shown is still available when you visit a sportsbook, and it does not control sportsbook availability, acceptance or settlement. Verify the current line and price directly with the sportsbook before acting.

StatsNext is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the sportsbooks, leagues, teams or players shown, and their names and marks belong to their owners.

Data accuracy and availability

StatsNext makes reasonable efforts to provide reliable information, but it relies on third-party and public sources, including sports data providers, sportsbook market data, weather providers and league, team and public information, and may add or change providers. Third-party data can be incomplete, delayed, corrected after the fact or unavailable. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or real-time feeds, error-free data, that injury or lineup reports stay accurate after publication, the accuracy of weather forecasts, or perfect statistical or model results. Coverage varies by sport, competition and market, and some data sources are not active.

Acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, StatsNext grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial research under the plan you have. Normal research and fair consumer use of the app are always permitted.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the Service if you are not eligible;
  • access another user’s account without authorization;
  • get around paywalls, research or plan limits, rate limits or other access controls, or share your account, sign-in codes or Pro access;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-harvest data from the Service, or access it through bots, scripts or other automated means beyond what the app itself provides;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute StatsNext access, research or model outputs, or use them to build a competing product, without our permission;
  • interfere with or overload our infrastructure or APIs, introduce malware, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorization;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app or Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • present StatsNext research as a guarantee or as an offer from StatsNext, or use the Service to promote illegal gambling;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Data and API redistribution

Consumer access to StatsNext does not include API access, bulk download, data-feed, commercial redistribution or resale rights for StatsNext research, analytics or model outputs. Any API or commercial data arrangement would require a separate written agreement with its own terms.

Intellectual property

StatsNext owns or licenses the Service, including the StatsNext name and brand, the app’s design and interface, its software and code, proprietary analytics, models and model outputs, derived analytics, the original selection, organization and presentation of its content, its documentation and its original written content, to the extent they are protectable. Except for the limited license in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

StatsNext does not claim ownership of underlying public sports facts, league, team or player names and marks, sportsbook names and trademarks, or the intellectual property of its data providers; these belong to their respective owners.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them to improve StatsNext without any obligation to you. This does not give us rights to anything else you create.

Third-party services and links

The Service depends on third-party platforms, such as the App Store, Google Play and our hosting and authentication providers, whose terms may also apply to you. Your use of any sportsbook or other third-party service is governed by that third party’s own terms, and StatsNext is not responsible for third-party services, content or conduct.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Parts of it may be unavailable, delayed or changed because of maintenance, data provider or sportsbook outages, league delays and schedule changes, suspended markets, data corrections, or internet and cloud service failures.

Changes to features and the Service

StatsNext is evolving. We may improve, add, change, limit or remove features, sports, competitions, markets, data providers, models, plan limits and how features are packaged between Free and Pro, and we do not promise that any particular feature will remain available. Changes are subject to applicable law and to any commitments that govern an active paid subscription, and we will give notice of material changes where the law requires.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using StatsNext at any time, and you can delete your account as described below. We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the law, engaged in fraud or abuse, or created a security risk, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should continue after termination continue, including those on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app from Account > Data and sign-out > Delete account. Deletion removes your account and the data saved with it and cannot be undone. As the Privacy Policy explains, some limited records may be kept where needed, such as a minimal record that a deletion was completed and information kept for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance, and backups expire on their normal schedule. Deleting the app from a device does not delete your account. If you use StatsNext as a guest, you can clear the data on your device from Account > Data and sign-out > Clear data on this device.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, including all data, research and model outputs, is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StatsNext and its operators, providers and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, wagers, winnings, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decision you make based on its data, research, alerts or model outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for our fraud or intentional misconduct.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatsNext and its operators from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or the law, or your misuse of the Service.

Governing law

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as StatsNext changes. We will post the updated Terms in the app with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will give additional notice, such as in the app, before it takes effect. If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and you may delete your account.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms presented with a purchase, are the entire agreement between you and StatsNext about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
